Deeply rooted in research and cultural exploration, Elly’s work is particularly influenced by the intersectionality of BIPOC history, otherness and sartorial clothing. This ongoing inquiry into heritage, identity and self-expression through tailoring is the driving force behind her creative process and is reflected in the narratives she weaves through her work.

With over a decade of experience across diverse sectors of the fashion industry, her multidisciplinary background spans design, garment construction and fashion production, all of which inform her hands-on approach to her work.

Via her London-based studio, she creates contemporary garments and bespoke one-off pieces that are both expressive and considered - clothes that challenge convention, inspired by figures of the past.

Her work celebrates queerness and is designed for all bodies, offering a thoughtful and diverse perspective in today’s landscape.
