The King is part of a series of embroidery pieces, prints and original works displayed in locations around East London. All pieces are created using the technique of freehand machine embroidery, allowing the artist to 'draw' with the sewing machine. All pieces are made using material remnants and (where possible) finished in upcycled frames. There are no copies, each artwork is completely unique.

The work shows a stoic face proudly surveying it's kingdom. The figure wears a long decorated earring and is crying red tears. It's subjects stand below with confident unmoving stance and expressions.
